St. Louise House at Borsad. Borsad centre was opened in the year 2008. It is a small town in the District of Anand Gujarat State and it is situated 75 km away from the headquarters of Ahmadabad. Though there are so many good Educational institutions run by private agencies meant for upper class, it was not affordable by the poor. Therefore the Education of lower class society was ignored. Seeing the needs education and development society especially among the poor, in the year 2008 Sisters started a school for both in English and Gujarati medium with the help of Jesuit Fathers. Later on a small health centre and mobile clinic also start functioning. In the year 2009 a small boarding was opened for the English medium children under the care of the sisters who comes from far. Beside these works, awareness and Self Help programmes in the villages were conducted for women to help them to stand on their feet producing income generation sources.
